PULLMAN, Wash. – WSU running back Wayshawn Parker announced on X Thursday he’s entering the transfer portal.
Parker, a freshman, played in every game for the Cougs this season. He scored five touchdowns and ended the regular season with 735 yards rushing and 108 yards receiving.
In his post on Twitter/X, Parker thanked the WSU community and said “I will never forget the time I had here with Wazzu.”
He said he’s entering the transfer portal with three years of eligibility.
The Cougs are waiting to see which bowl game they’ll be playing in.
While players across the country have announced their intention to transfer, the portal doesn’t officially open until December 9.
