SPOKANE, Wash – Early snowfall across the Inland Northwest means ski and snowboard fanatics can hit the slopes earlier than usual this year.
Here’s a list of who is open for skiing and snowboarding this weekend:
49 Degrees North kicks off the 2024-2025 season Friday, November 22nd. The resort is planning to operate 5 lifts throughout the weekend and plans to operate five days a week (Friday through Tuesday) until moving to a 7-day a week schedule on December 20th. 49 Degrees North is 59 miles north of Spokane, near Chewelah Silver Mountain opens Friday, November 22nd. They plan to operate chair one, chair two and magic carpet. Silver Mountain is located about 35 miles east of Coeur d’Alene off of Interstate 90Schweitzer Mountain opens Friday, November 22nd. Skiers and snowboarders can access terrain using Magic Carpet, Basin Express Quad, and the Lakeview Triple. Schweitzer is 59 miles north of Coeur d’Alene, just above the town of SandpointLookout Pass opened November 12th and is currently operating Friday-Monday. Lookout is on the Idaho/Montana border, an hour east of Coeur d’Alene
Mt Spokane is targeting November 29th for its opening day.
