CHEWELAH, Wash. — 49 Degrees North Mountain Resort is getting ready to welcome people to the mountain for this winter’s ski season!
Opening day for the resort is Friday, Nov. 22.
Resort management said recent storms brought in heavy, wet snow over the past few days with more to come. Temperatures are expected to drop and stabilize by the end of the weekend.
Services are planned for five lifts, including Northern Spirit Express, Sunrise Quad, Payday, Silver Lode and the Gold Fever Conveyor.
Staff at the resort expect to see some of the best early season snow surfaces in years.
After opening day, travelers can expect the resort to be open Friday through Tuesday until Dec. 20. After that, the resort will be open seven days a week.
