SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Molly Marshall conceded the Spokane County Commissioner District 5 race to Al French.
As of the latest numbers from the Spokane County elections office, Marshall had 49% of the votes counted while French had 51% of votes.
“While this is not the outcome we hoped for, I am deeply grateful for the hundreds of neighbors, volunteers, and donors who stood by our campaign,” Marshall said. “Together, we brought attention to vital issues like clean water, wildfire readiness, and infrastructure that supports safe and sustainable development.”
