COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Get ready for Coeur d’Alene’s Leaf Fest 2026!
The city of Coeur d’Alene says Leaf Fest collects all leaves and needles placed in the right of way as a way to keep them out of the storm water system.
Leaf Fest will happen on Thursday, November 12. Crews will begin south of Sherman Avenue and work north. The city says leaves and needles will be collected from all public streets within city limits.
The city asks everyone to please keep leaves and needles on their property until Sunday, November 1. After that, place leaves and needles about one foot from the curb line to allow rainwater to make it to the drain.
One pass will be made on each street, so do not put more debris out after your street has been collected.
The city says it will only be colleting leaves and needles. No grass clippings, garden debris, branches, garbage or bags of leaves will be collected.
