SPOKANE, WASH. — The Davenport hosts the second annual Pacific Northwest Food and Wine Festival this weekend, bringing acclaimed culinary talent to Spokane.
The festival kicks off tonight with a grand tasting at the Davenport Grand Terrace, followed by a weekend chef-driven dinners, cooking demonstrations, and gourmet tastings throughout the weekend.
Josh Rockwell, hotel complex manager at the Davenport, explained the festival’s purpose: “It is in our backyard and maybe we don’t realize that all the time but being able to be in front of so much of what we have that is unique to the area and bringing it all together in one place.”
Celebrity chef Shota Nakajima, known for his appearances on Top Chef, headlines the festival alongside other regional chefs and winemakers.
While VIP passes have sold out, several events still have available spots. Interested attendees can find registration information on Davenport Hotels
