SPOKANE, Wash. – The Lewis & Clark Tigers earned a key Greater Spokane League 4A win, defeating the Ferris Saxons, 59-23, and spoiling the Saxons’ homecoming.
LC quarterback Sully Sandusky threw a career-high six touchdown passes, three to junior wide receiver Calvin Killian. Two of those three came in a furious late-second-quarter comeback with a safety scored, too.
This 4A loss is Ferris’ second following a 42-20 loss against Gonzaga Prep last week, and a season-closing game at Mead will decide any slim playoff hopes.
Lewis & Clark next plays at University on Oct. 16 at 7:00 p.m., and Ferris next plays at Central Valley the same day at the same time.
