SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Transit Authority has launched the See Say mobile app, giving riders a fast way to report safety, security and maintenance concerns directly from their smartphones, according to a press release from STA.
The free app, available on Apple and Android devices, allows users to submit descriptions, photos, videos and location information. Reports can be submitted anonymously. The app supports two-way communication with STA security personnel when additional information is needed.
“Safety is STA’s highest priority,” said Karl Otterstrom, STA Chief Executive Officer. “The See Say app gives our riders a convenient way to communicate concerns and helps us maintain a safe, welcoming transit environment for everyone.”
Riders can use the app while riding STA buses or Paratransit, waiting at bus stops or visiting STA facilities. The app is intended for non-emergency concerns. Riders should call 911 for urgent or life-threatening emergencies.
The See Say app is available for free through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. After downloading, users select Transit and search for Spokane Transit. Riders can also submit reports online through STA’s See Say webpage without downloading the app.
