SPOKANE, Wash. — A field on Five Mile Prairie north of Spokane is getting a fresh trim thanks to a herd of goats.
But these aren’t your typical goats, these are fire risk abatement goats with JJ’s Goat Service. These goats are brought in to eat weeds and brush that could easily become fire fuel.
The goats will even take care of any noxious weeds.
They are often deployed in areas where gas-powered lawnmowers can’t operate.
