SPOKANE, Wash – A former Gonzaga and current NBA basketball player has provided a “transformative gift” to to the program, which will be recognized later this week.
Gonzaga Athletics will announce the gift at the dedication for the newly built Basketball Strength and Conditioning Center.
The center is described as a training foundation for basketball players, supporting year-round strength and development, injury prevention and performance optimization.
“Its dedication highlights the lasting connection between Gonzaga Basketball and one of its most accomplished former student-athletes, while celebrating the program’s continued commitment to excellence,” Gonzaga Athletics said in a news release Monday.
The dedication is Thursday afternoon in the Volkar Center for Athletic Achievement at Gonzaga.
