SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Containment continues to grow on the over 200-acre Upriver Fire in Spokane County.
According to Incident Management, the fire was estimated to be 213 acres with 60% containment as of Saturday morning.
Fourteen homes and 4 additional structures have been confirmed lost in the fire.
All evacuation levels have been reduced to Level 1 (Get Ready) in parts of the fire area.
Fire crews will be working on Saturday to protect structures in the fire area and watch for any hotspots along the fire perimeter.
People living in the area might still see smoke from inside the fire area, but the fire is not expected to grow.
Incident management says the fire was human caused.
