Hi everyone, I’m Sam Kirk, and I’m excited to be joining the sports team at KXLY.
I recently made the move to Spokane after spending the last two years in Yuma, Arizona, where I worked as a Sports Director and Anchor covering everything from high school sports to college athletics and major sporting events. Originally from New Jersey, I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Sports Studies.
Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m passionate about telling the stories behind the games, athletes, coaches, and communities that make sports so special. I’m looking forward to getting out across the Inland Northwest, meeting people, and showcasing the incredible athletes and teams that call this area home.
