Temperatures will gradually warm every day, starting today and ending in the middle of next week for a real first taste of summer weather.
Plan Your Thursday
Thursday brings quiet and pleasant conditions with mostly clear skies. Temperatures warm up to near seasonal averages, reaching the low to mid 70s for many locations. It’s going to be a gorgeous day! Temperatures overnight will be a little cool for mid-June, dipping down to the mid to upper 40s.
What We’re Tracking
Changes arrive Friday as a weather system sideswipes the Inland Northwest. There will be a small chance of thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening, largely in North Idaho. We’ll also see breezy conditions return for the afternoon.
The warming trend cranks into high gear this weekend, with 80s on Sunday and highs close to 90 degrees by Tuesday. This heat, combined with a dry cold front and 40 mph wind gusts on Tuesday, will create potential fire weather concerns.
