MERIDIAN, Idaho – The No. 1-seeded St. Maries Lumberjacks are the Idaho 3A boys basketball state champions, defeating the Wendell Trojans, 50-43.
The Lumberjacks won through crushing paint presence and rebounding, handling the glass well with 32 boards and scoring 20 paint points to the Trojans’ eight.
The title is St. Maries’ second all-time and their first since 2021.
