SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane’s newest big race is already making national headlines as one of the best fun runs in the country.
USA Today picked The Boulevard Race as one to be considered for its 10 Best list.
The four-mile race through downtown includes live DJs, bubbles, tunnels, entertainment and more, with proceeds supporting cancer patients through the Community Cancer Fund.
Other races vying to be named one of the USA Today 10 Best include Bay to Breakers in San Francisco, the Disney Princess 5k at Walt Disney World and Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In that race, participants have to eat a dozen donuts while running five miles in under an hour.

This year’s race is planned for September 20th.
