SPOKANE, Wash. – The Washington State Cougars (8-9) used a lightning-fast start to build a sizable lead over the Oregon State Beavers (8-9), putting away their old Pac-12 rival, 81-67.
The Spokane Arena game featured a 16-point Ace Glass performance, plus a fantastic game from Adria Rodriguez hauling in a career-high seven rebounds.
Wazzu built a lead as high as 20, and despite OSU chipping that down to 10, the Cougs held on through great free throw shooting, closing out their fifth win over the past six games.
WSU next heads to Moraga to face the Saint Mary’s Gaels on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 2:00 p.m.
