PORTLAND, Ore. – The Washington State Cougars (2-14) haven’t yet found their way this season, and trying to beat the ever-steady Portland Pilots (8-7) on the road did not lead to success.
Freshman Malia Ruud led the Cougs with 14 points on 60% shooting, plus four rebounds and a steal.
WSU’s turnover issues continued with a whopping 25, allowing 28 points off those giveaways.
The Cougs look for a road win next at the Seattle U Redhawks this Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
