PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State Cougars continue to build their staff for the upcoming 2026 season.
Kirby Moore added to his staff today, hiring Matt Miller as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach, Trent Bray as the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach, and Malcolm Hardmon as the strength & conditioning coach.
Miller served as Boise State’s offensive coordinator over the past six seasons, leading the Broncos to 51 wins, three-straight Mountain West titles and an offense ranking in the top 30 in total yards this year after boasting the Heisman Trophy runner-up running back Ashton Jeanty a year ago.
Bray coached at Oregon State as their head coach over the past two seasons following developing one of the best defenses in the country across the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Beavers as their defensive coordinator. Bray is also a Pullman native and played for OSU in the early 2000s.
Hardmon worked with Moore at Missouri in the same role over the past three seasons, helping improve the Tigers from 6-7 to a 35-17 record since. Hardmon has a background in mixed martial arts.
