MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A Moses Lake father was arrested after his 13-month-old daughter was hospitalized for a drug overdose on Monday night.
According to the Moses Lake Police Department, the girl was brought into the emergency room for an overdose around 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Moses Lake police officers were called out to investigate.
Following the investigation, the girl’s father, 57-year-old Thomas William of Moses Lake, was arrested for criminal mistreatment and endangerment with a controlled substance.
The victim was stabilized and transferred to a Spokane hospital for observation.
Moses Lake Police say the victim is in the care and custody of Child Protective Services.
This is an ongoing investigation.
