MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A man died after being hit by an SUV while crossing the street in Moses Lake Friday night.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 73-year-old Alejo C. Gonzales was crossing West Broadway Avenue around 9:30 p.m. WSP says he was not using a crosswalk at the time.
The SUV was driving south on the road at Schneirla Street and hit Gonzales.
Gonzales was declared dead at the scene.
WSP says the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
