EPHRATA, Wash. — Drivers on State Route 282 into Ephrata should plan for more travel time starting next week.
According to Grant County Central Services, SR 282 will be closed to all traffic between the Airport Road turnoff and the Dodson Road roundabout while crews work to build a new roundabout.
The Dodson Road roundabout will still be accessible from three directions, but access to and from Moses Lake will not be available.
Grant County Central Services says this project, mandated by the Department of Transportation, is necessary to address safety concerns impacted by traffic changes from the new county jail.
Detour signs will be in place. You can see details on the detour route by clicking here.
The project is expected to be finished by September 12.
