SOUTH CHENEY, Wash. — Firefighters are responding to a brush fire near the intersection of South Cheney Spokane Road and South Marshall Road.
According to Spokane County Fire District 3 (SCFD3), the brush fire was approximately 300 feet by 300 feet in size.
SCFD3 said the fire is still active, but forward progression has stopped and wet lining the area.
Additional crews have been cancelled and no homes in the area are at risk.
According to Spokane County Fire District 3, the brush fire is near the same location as Tuesday’s fire on South Cheney-Spokane Road.
