SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is set to receive millions from the state to improve roads, law enforcement, and more.
The city says it has secured more than $55 million for varying projects.
Some of those projects include:
$51.7 million for the North Spokane Corridor$2.2 million for renovations on the Spokane River Centennial Trail$750k for Spokane Police Department training center expansion$350k for Northeast Public Development Authority housing and childcare$300k for East-Central NSC noise mitigation$1 million for Fish Lake Trail connection$480k for Coeur d’Alene Park playground and restroom replacements
The city is also highlighting some impactful legislation including one that helps the city establish its own emergency dispatch service.
