PEND OREILLE COUNTY, Wash. — An Ione man died in a crash on State Route 31 overnight.
According to Washington State Patrol, the 36-year-old man was driving southbound two miles south of Metaline around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
The man, whose name has not been released, left the road and crashed into a large street sign.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
WSP said no other cars or people were involved in this crash.
This crash is still under investigation.
