ELECTRIC CITY, Wash — A 55-year-old Camas woman was hit by a pickup truck while she was walking on the side of the road Wednesday night.
According to Washington State Patrol, Michelle Boord was walking on the shoulder of SR 155 just before 8:00 p.m.
She then walked into the roadway and was hit by the pickup truck.
A 73-year-old woman from Grand Coulee drove the 2021 GMC Sierra.
According to WSP, the driver was not injured and is not facing any charges.
Boord was taken to a Spokane hospital by Life Flight. No word on the extent of her injuries.
