SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane elementary school was put into secure and teach Tuesday morning while Spokane police investigated a nearby reported shooting.
SPD responded to a reported shooting near the Cedar West Apartments on Rowan Avenue near Driscoll Blvd.
Spokane Public Schools says nearby Browne Elementary was put into secure and teach for a short time. Secure and teach means exterior doors are locked but classes operate as normal.
There were no reported victims, and no arrests have been made.
SPD says they are still investigating.
