COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Law enforcement arrested a man accused of strangling, hitting, and stabbing his girlfriend during an argument at their Coeur d’Alene home Tuesday.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, officers responded to a report of a domestic battery at a home near Harrison Avenue and 15th Street.
The woman reported her boyfriend, 38-year-old Adrian Fister, struck her multiple times during an argument.
SWAT, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and police all responded and Fister eventually surrendered.
He was booked into jail for domestic battery, attempted strangulation, and aggravated assault.
CDA Police says the investigation is ongoing.
