SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — At least one person has been killed in a crash on Highway 27 south of Rockford.
According to Washington State Patrol, one vehicle crashed on the highway between Rockford and Fairfield near Morris Road.
WSP says a 67-year-old man was alone in the vehicle and died in the crash.
Troopers says the man was wearing a seatbelt and lost control at a curve in the road.
WSP says alcohol bottles were found inside the vehicle, but more investigation will be needed to determine if the man was under the influence.
According to WSP, the vehicle had crashed some time ago and people noticed the crash in the daylight.
