SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was arrested after police found stolen merchandise in his home, according to the Spokane County Investigative Unit (SCIU).
SCIU reports that the suspect, 39-year-old Zack G. Bunke, is believed to have used a black Jeep Rubicon to commit the thefts.
SCIU detectives said the thefts occurred in the Colbert area between Dec. 1 and Dec. 5.
On Dec. 5, SCIU reported that while Spokane Police were at Bunke’s residence for an unrelated theft case, they executed a search warrant and discovered stolen merchandise connected to the Colbert package thefts.
Bunke, a convicted felon, was arrested on unrelated charges and booked into jail.
Bunke was released on Dec. 9, after posting bond.
SCIU detectives have identified four victims but are seeking additional information or video evidence from others who may have been affected.
