SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane Chiefs fan had the opportunity to shop with the Chiefs captain during the Fred Meyer Shop With The Chiefs promotion event on Tuesday.
Dan DeNike won the $1,000 shopping spree at the Chiefs game on Nov. 15. He and a teammate came closest to the actual price of six items in a “guess the price” promotion. He then built his perfect Thanksgiving dinner by shooting pucks into a net and selecting the correct items.
DeNike was accompanied by Chiefs captain Berkly Catton for the spree. Catton helped push his cart and grab as many items as they could in the given time.
DeNike and Catton grabbed meat, coffee and laundry detergent before the spree ended. Afterward, DeNike got to take home the remaining two-thirds of the reward on a gift card.
Along with this promotion, Fred Meyer donated $500 to Second Harvest Inland Northwest to help provide community members with much-needed meals.
