SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane firefighters are investigating a house fire in northwest Spokane that killed one pet.
The fire broke out Thursday morning at a home on N. Bemis Street near Rowan Avenue.
Firefighters say no humans were home at the time, but a pet was and died in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
