SPOKANE, Wash. — Lewis and Clark High School was placed briefly into Secure and Teach mode Wednesday morning while an investigation into a potential weapon on campus occurred.
According to Principal Ivan Corley, a “vague conversation” about bringing a weapon to school occurred Tuesday.
Out of an abundance of caution, LC was placed into Secure and Teach while law enforcement investigated. Secure and Teach means exterior doors of the school are locked but normal classes occur inside.
The Secure and Teach was lifted around 10 a.m.
