SPOKANE, Wash. — It’s day two, and Mark Peterson and the 4 News Now Extreme Team are at it again, helping a second United States Navy (USN) veteran prepare their home before winter.
On Tuesday, the Extreme Team began working on the home of USN veteran Jason Eagle.
Eagle was medically discharged after 14 years and four tours overseas.
With limited mobility and a busy schedule, he and his wife couldn’t assemble a shed or fix the broken-up sidewalk to their home.
Jason is attending online school to become a gunsmith, while his wife takes care of his kids and pets.
Horizon Credit Union Volunteers, Lance Pounder Excavation, Winkler Concrete, and Central Pre-Mix are donating time and resources to help Jason and his wife prepare for the winter months.
The volunteer work includes rebuilding the sidewalk, assembling a prefabricated garden shed, and providing yard cleanup.
Watch 4 News Now at 6 on Wednesday to see the changes made to Eagle’s home.
