KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — One man was killed and another person was hospitalized in a crash in Dalton Gardens Friday morning.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle crashed into tree around 10 a.m. at 4th Street and Dalton Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle died at the scene and the passenger was taken to the hospital with critical but non-life-threatening injuries.
KCSO’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating but believe the crash was caused by a medical episode.
