SPOKANE, Wash. — For the first time in more than four decades, Spokane enters Labor Day weekend without its signature Pig Out in the Park festival. A new event launching this weekend aims to help fill the void many foodies and music lovers are feeling.
“Stuffed on the Bluff” debuts Saturday morning at Beck’s Harvest House on East Green Bluff Road, bringing together 14 food trucks and 9 live bands across three days of festivities. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with free admission and parking.
The event is made possible through a collaboration between Beck’s Harvest House and the Greater Spokane Food Truck. Each food truck will operate its regular menu while also offering small portion plates priced at $8 or less, allowing attendees to sample offerings from multiple vendors without breaking the bank.
“We are pretty passionate about supporting our local community and our local businesses around here,” said Todd Beck, owner of Beck’s Harvest House. “So many of those food trucks because of losing the event in downtown this weekend needed something to do this weekend to fill that space in their calendar. So why not work with them to offer up this great venue that we have here.”
