GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Fire crews are fighting a wildfire near the Wilson Creek area on Thursday afternoon, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
State fire resources have been dispatched to Road R Fire which is estimated to have burned about 500 acres.
Firefighters say the fire started around 3 p.m. Thursday and is burning sagebrush.
Homes, crops, and powerlines are threatened but no evacuations are in place as of 4 a.m. Friday.
