SPOKANE, Wash. -Former Gonzaga forward Noah Haaland is beginning his professional basketball career in Spain. The Rathdrum native signed with Hestia Menorca, a team in Spain’s second division.
Haaland spent two seasons with the Zags after playing two years at Allan Hancock College. He saw increased opportunities last season because of injuries in Gonzaga’s frontcourt, appearing in 10 games and averaging 2.0 points and 1.1 rebounds.
