SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman was arrested for trying to steal items from a burned home in the Indian Trail neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
According to Spokane Police, 33-year-old Taylor J. Edwards was caught on the property by the homeowner around 2:45 p.m. Edwards was then seen leaving the area on foot, leaving her vehicle at the location.
Edwards was found by officers nearby. Other officers at the property found burned items that appeared to belong to the homeowners next to Edwards’ vehicle.
Edwards was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail for criminal trespassing.
SPD also seized Edwards’ vehicle pending a search warrant and further charges may be possible.
