SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Indians center fielder Jacob Humphrey was promoted today to the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats.
The Vanderbilt grad earned his way up by leading Spokane with a .310 batting average and a .866 OPS, hitting eight home runs and 72 hits. He finished second on the team with 26 steals.
Humphrey is the fourth Spokane player promoted this month, joining Tevin Tucker, Bryson Hammer, and Hunter Mann.
