SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters rescued 5 kittens from a house fire Monday at approximately 4:46 p.m.
Firefighters responded to the 2100 block of East 5th Avenue after a neighbor reported smoke coming from a home.
Firefighters found moderate smoke coming from a 1½-story single-family home.
The Firefighters found 5 kittens during their search and safely got them from the house.
They contained the fire within 10 minutes.
