SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Fire Department’s Community Risk Reduction team is distributing free personal protective equipment to residents impacted by the Spokane Complex Fire, according to the fire department.
Mask and glove kits along with Tyvek protective suits will be available for pickup at two locations this week:
Tuesday, August 18 from 3-6 p.m. at Station 16 (5225 N Assembly St.)
Thursday, August 20 from 3-6 p.m. at Station 17 (5121 W Lowell Rd.)
The protective equipment is designed to help residents minimize exposure to smoke and ash while returning home and beginning cleanup efforts.
