BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho Fish and Game is reopening the parking area at Crystal Lake after a sinkhole closed the area temporarily back in June.
The emergency closure happened when a sinkhole was discovered beneath the road. This posed a hazard to drivers on the road.
While the road work was done, Fish and Game said crews also made improvements to the boat ramp and trim trees around the site.
The Crystal Lake access site is located about two miles east of Priest River along Highway 2 in Bonner County. Fish and Game says the area is now safer and more usable for anglers.
