SPOKANE, Wash – Drivers who use the Thor-Freya exit from eastbound Interstate 90 will have to wait at least a few more weeks to use it again.
The City of Spokane began working on the Thor-Freya intersections at 2nd and 3rd Avenues in March.
Crews are reconstructing all four intersections in the area and also installing new storm, sewer at water systems.
The city’s website says the project would be completed in August, but construction is still underway with the Thor-Freya exit closed and several lane closures off the freeway.
A spokesperson told 4 News Now the project is in the finishing stages and would likely be finished in the next couple of weeks.
