Mead School District vows improvements following jury verdict in hazing incident trial

MEAD, Wash. — The Mead School District released a statement following the jury verdict revolving around a hazing incident from a 2023 football camp.

“We are deeply mindful that two former students and their families have been harmed, and that acknowledgement will always come before anything else we might say,” the district said in a statement. “This matter has had a significant impact on those involved, their families and our school community.”
