What Weāre Tracking
A strong, dry cold front arrives Tuesday, bringing a significant threat for critical fire weather. Our team has declared Tuesday and Weather Alert Day.
Winds will increase to 20 to 30 mph with gusts between 30 and 50 mph. These conditions, combined with humidity levels as low as 10 percent, have prompted a Fire Weather Watch. In addition to the fire threat, blowing dust and difficult highway driving are a strong possibility with these winds and dry conditions.
