The full 2026-27 College Football Playoff (CFP) and Bowl Season schedule was released today, a little under three months away from the start of the fall season.
The CFP first-round games begin on Friday, Dec. 18, with a kickoff at 5:00 p.m. on ESPN, then the next day kicks off at 9:00 a.m. (ABC), 12:30 p.m. (TNT), and 4:30 p.m. (TNT).
The quarterfinals begin on Wednesday, Dec. 30, with the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl at 4:30 p.m. on TNT, then the other games all day on New Year’s Day.
The semifinals start with the Capital One Orange Bowl at 4:30 p.m. on TNT on Thursday, Jan. 14, followed by the Allstate Sugar Bowl the next day at 4:30 p.m. on ABC.
The National Championship kicks off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, Jan. 25 at 4:30 p.m. This is the first non-Monday national title game in the playoff era.

The San Diego-based Holiday Bowl and newly-restored Poinsettia Bowl are not yet scheduled. The Poinsettia Bowl will be the Pac-12 champion (assuming no playoff bid) versus a Pac-12 legacy team (i.e. Oregon, Washington).
