PEND OREILLE COUNTY, Wash. — A motorcyclist from Idaho died in a crash on Highway 20 about 13 miles north of Cusick Saturday afternoon.
According to Washington State Police, 86-year-old David F. Irvine of Rathdrum was driving south on the highway at around 2:45 p.m.
Irvine crashed into the southbound ditch.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
WSP said Irvine was wearing a helmet when he crashed.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
