QUINCY, Wash. — Deputies advised people to stay home while they searched for a wanted person in Quincy on Tuesday night.
Around 9:30 p.m. on September 3, Grant County Sheriff’s Office said they were searching for a wanted person near Road S-NW and Road 10.5 NW in Quincy.
They ordered anyone in the area to stay indoors as they conducted the search.
Around 10:40 p.m., GCSO said the person was barricaded inside a home in the search area and negotiators were using loudspeakers to communicate with the suspect. After about an hour, the person came out of the house and surrendered without incident.
GCSO did not provide a description or name of the suspect.
