RATHDRUM, Idaho — A semi truck crashed into a FedEx vehicle east of Rathdrum on Monday.
According to Idaho State Police, crews responded to the area of Highway 53 and Wilkinson Road for the crash just before 2 P.M.
The FedEx truck driven by a 33-year-old male from Spokane, was traveling east on Highway 53.
The driver of the FedEx truck turned left in front of the semi that was traveling west on Highway 53.
The semi was driven by a 40-year-old male from Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Both drivers were able to get out of the vehicles on their own and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash blocked the highway for several hours and is still under investigation.
