STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A Loon Lake man died in a crash on Highway 395 on Friday night.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 74-year-old Brian J. Gilmore was driving north about 3 and a half miles north of Loon Lake around 10 p.m.
WSP said Gilmore’s SUV left the roadway to the right, hit several trees and rolled into the woods.
Gilmore was ejected from the SUV during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
WSP said Gilmore was not wearing a seatbelt when he crashed.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
